Sedgefield Church Mission Endowment
This endowment supports various mission efforts designated by the Endowment and Missions Committees at Sedgefield UMC.
Harold and Lenora Stephenson Scholarship Fund
This fund, established in memory of Harold and Lenora Stephenson, is used for Community College Scholarship Assistance.
Barbara L. Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund
Barbara Carter was an accomplished musician and lifelong educator and learner. She was the organist and choir director at St. Paul UMC in Charlotte (now Sedgefield UMC) for many years. This fund provides scholarships to assist students in the cost of a four-year undergraduate degree.
General Endowment Fund
To support the programs, ministry areas, and general operations of the church as determined by the Finance Committee leadership.
Mission Fund
To support missions in and beyond the local church and community, consistent with the direction provided by the Global Impact Committee.
Capital Improvements and Renovation Fund
To support the major maintenance and improvements of church facilities as determined by the Trustee Committee.
Kenneth Conley Fund
In his memory and to support the Capital Improvements and Renovation Fund category, which supports major maintenance and improvements of church facilities as determined by the Trustee Committee.
Professional Development Fund
To provide support beyond the annual budget for educational and training opportunities for staff, clergy and congregants as determined by the Senior Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
Ira and Anna Williams Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships for students pursuing undergraduate degrees from accredited institutions in the field of early childhood, primary or secondary education or in the area of music or music education.
Legacy Fund
Legacy funds provide you the opportunity to share the gift of giving with future generations.
