The theme for this year, …And God does the rest, alludes to doing our part as people of faith, sustained by the confidence that comes from believing in God’s promises. Hebrews 10 puts it this way: “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and the full assurance that faith brings… for the God who promised is faithful.”
What’s ahead in 2025 and beyond
Make plans to attend our Annual Meeting on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Stuart Auditorium. You’ll hear from Foundation President David Snipes and Board Chair Anne Martin about how the Foundation supports the good and faithful work to which you are called.
Lay and clergy members of annual conference serve as the membership of the Foundation. In this capacity, you will be asked to elect a slate of board members to the Class of 2028.
Children have a place at AC2025
The Foundation is pleased to sponsor The Neighbor Way Camp for Kids, a multi-session offering Thursday to Saturday for children up to fifth grade. Daily activities will show campers how church is not only what happens in a building — but also in the streets of their own communities.
Investment options built to endure
It’s a great time to talk about fund options tailored to your ministry’s goals and risk tolerance. With a portfolio balanced across asset classes, Foundation funds have proven resilient through the full cycle of market conditions. Our most popular option – the Diversified Fund – continues to outperform the benchmark for the three-, five-, and ten-year periods.
Honor retiring clergy through Pass-the-Mantle
Pass-the-Mantle recognizes faithful servants who dedicated their lives to ministry. Just as importantly, it invests in the next generation by providing scholarships for WNCC seminary students, easing the burden as these clergy persons begin appointed ministry. The WNC Board of Ordained Ministry invites you to make a gift.
Each year, some funds will be immediately dispersed as scholarship awards, and others will be invested for long-term growth so they might multiply and benefit future generations of clergy. The gift (but not the amount) will be acknowledged to the honoree. Learn more and make a gift.
