Newcomers will bring expertise to Foundation board

Two newcomers will bring unique skills and life experiences to the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

JaCynthia Bailey and Michael Davis join returning board members Tom Latimer, Bill Mileham, and Suzanne Schilling in the Class of 2029. The slate was elected during the Annual Meeting of the Membership on Saturday, June 20 in Lake Junaluska.

JaCynthia, a Charlotte native, has dedicated over 13 years to ministry in various roles. JaCynthia and her husband, Pastor Ian Bailey, lead an outreach effort for unhoused persons and empower women, youth, and married couples through their work as retreat liaisons and counselors. The couple co-authored a devotional guide called Getting Back Marriage Journey: 21 Days of Reconnecting, Restoration & Focus. JaCynthia describes her greatest joys as being wife to Ian and mother to their four children.

Michael Davis is Managing Director of Davidson Wealth Management & Partners, a role in which he helps clients plan for retirement, manage businesses, and prepare to leave a legacy for future generations. Also a Charlotte native, Michael has been shaped by his time in the communities of Lake Norman, Davidson, and Mooresville. Michael and his wife, Carrie, enjoy volunteering at community events and spending time with their three children.
